No, I feel ya. It's a personal choice like anything else, and as long as people don't get preachy I have no problem with it.

Thanks Gresh and I agree. Nothing on gays or muslims but I was making a point.

In the meanwhile, atheists have nothing better to do.

Is the RCO some sort of religious outfit/group/unit/whatever you call it?

What relevance does any of that have to religion then?

You mean it's as fashionable as hating on those god damn aweful atheists.
It's not about hating on atheists for being atheist. It about them trying to dictate what others can or cannot do. If a unit wants to have it's motto be, "In God we Trust; All Others We Monitor" who are they to say otherwise?

Apparently the atheists think that adding the word "God" to something makes it religious.

You can't really blame them when you consider what God is, can you?

The potential use of the cross in the World Trade Center Memorial has been controversial. Many groups such as families of certain Christian victims want the cross to be included.[18] Other organizations disagree, notably the American Atheists (who have filed suit pertaining to this issue) [19] as well as the Coalition for Jewish Concerns.[20] Alternatively, the Anti-Defamation League (another Jewish group) issued a statement that it "fully supports the inclusion in the National September 11 Memorial & Museum of the metal beams in the shape of a cross found in the rubble at Ground Zero in the aftermath of the tragic attacks on 9/11."[21]

"The Christian community found a piece of rubble that looked like an icon and they deified it. But really 9/11 had nothing to do with Christianity," said American Atheists president Dave Silverman. "They want a monopoly and we don't want that to happen."
"It just so happens that the WTC was made out of T-joints and they found a T-joint," Silverman said. "They put it in the church, kept in the church for years, prayed over it, blessed it. You don't get to do that just in the coincidence that your icon looks like a T-joint."

I see. We were talking about two different cases, then. I was referring to the group complaining the Latin word God. Did they file a law suit?

Y'know for one who doesn't have a problem with religion, it's somewhat funny that your avatar is a fictional super human that eradicated religion on earth to unite it.

    Just sayin'

I'd think anybody with more than two brain-cells firing would realize in this case it's a figure of speech, and that the USAF isn't a church. Saying, "goddamn it!" when slamming your thumb with a hammer doesn't turn it into a religious ceremony. (I know you know this, I'm not saying you specifically in this case.)
