Harris in my eye's a BC legend ,,yet is and will always be labelled all sorts solely for Dresden yet the other side of the world when US started to bomb the japanese mainland the B29 was actually ineffective for a good period then Gen Le May he changed what he saw was it's operational flaws after a period so he could see what the issuse were then fix them and he did .. .So what makes the Le may's tactics any different to the bombing of Tokyo to that of Dresden ... in terms of history rememberance .. when considering the build quality of the housing in tokyo ... wasn't the same yet you could see the city on flame from a much longer distance , as mentioned in the B29 documentry I posted in the Military doc thread ..
I guess it's because very little press were within the vicinity and little remember as such ...and over the years Dresden will forever be remembered than Tokyo yet Tokyo had more damage .. overall
