In November, the UN General Assembly passed a resolution by the vote of 106-9 deploring the plot to kill the Saudi envoy in Washington, and calling on Iran to cooperate in bringing those responsible to justice. The resolution also called on Iran to respects its obligations in protecting diplomats.
Patrick Clawson, research director at Washington's Institute for Near East Policy, told The Jerusalem Post that this resolution provided an opening for Israel to go the UN and again get it to discuss Iranian involvement in these types of activities, and further isolate Iran.

As far as expecting a UN reaction, true. But Israel has to fight on ALL fronts if we want to see this thing through, including on the diplomatic front. So kudos for the decision.
C4 is just a small part of the main bomb. Details left out.
what's more to the bomb
1- It needs explosives which is C4
2- It need a trigger that can be a radio or a clock or a switch
3- it need a detonator which have an explosives power equal
or even less than a firecracker
my question is how they managed to detonate that C4 as it's
safe enough to make a ball of it and play Volleyball with it.

you can bake c4 you can put it inside microwave ,C4 is very stable and insensitive to most physical shocks. C4 cannot be detonated by a gunshot or by dropping it onto a hard surface. It does not explode when set on fire or exposed to microwave radiation. Detonation can only be initiated by a combination of extreme heat and a shockwave, such as when a detonator inserted into it is fired.

if what exploded was detonator not the c4 itself there
was no need for them to escape the house. if it was c4
then it must have been a very small amount of it that
they stayed alive and unharmed so they could escape.
and that put the purpose of that bomb under question.
As long as we're all doing C4 - tin foil issues, .....let me try one. Maybe someone else who had been watching them caused the explosion.Just seems a bit much to keep going along the line that they did themselves in, even by accident.
