I still don't see war as the outcome of this. It would take an attack on a bigger scale for Israel, the UN, NATO, and the US to respond militarily. This situation reminds me a lot of the US's response to attacks committed by AQ during the '90s. We just sat by and accepted having our citizens and soldiers killed until AQ ramped it up and flew 3 planes into buildings. I have a feeling Iran understands this too.
This happened about a 10 minute walk from my old apartment. Glad no one was killed and that the idiot did more damage to himself than innocent bystanders.
That said, I find his motives odd. His location for striking doesn't make sense. The only thing in that soi (street) was a Thai school, and it's on the outer rim of the city center. Just to clear things up, the synagogues located on soi 22 and 19 are quite a ways away, roughly 10km. If he was planning to lob the bombs that far I think he was overestimating himself, seeing as he had trouble hitting a target 10ft away in the first place.
Either way, a lot of details about the incident are still speculated right now, and I think it will take a while for more concrete facts to rise up about it. Only thing I know is that I'm happy he won't be able to do it again.
Why Thailand?
Or easier security than other places.
That was another thing I was thinking, considering that there were other incidents around the world.
"No matter how much you Zionists can hide and far you are, we will strike you at your heart. Within reasonable limits and assuming there isn't strict security where you are of course."
There's a relatively sizable Middle Eastern community on Soi 3, and I think a good number of Iranians are here as well. You read about them in the news quite frequently when some of them get caught trying to smuggle Ice (drug) into the country.
I think in comparison the Israeli community is probably quite small, though there is one for certain. I've run into a couple, and we had about 2-5 Israelis per class in my high school here.
I dont support the Iranian government and have been personally affected by them more than any of you guys have but I'm gonna go ahead and call False flag on this sh*t. I'll be the first to say it.
Tensions rise with Iran and now they're all over the media carrying out suicide attacks? Give me a fvcking break. This isn't the first time we've seen planted passports.
If Iranian and suicide bomber is put in the same headline on major media outlets somebody's jobs been done.
Yes it is! Nana is Soi 4 which is pretty much right across Soi 3.
I do believe that Israelis are frequent visitors to some of the islands in the south. For Bangkok tourism I imagine not so much. This is all personal perception and not raw data, by any means, so take it as you will. I mean Thailand is a pretty big tourist hub for people from all over, Israelis included.

The wiki page lists some countries by number of arrivals and Israel is not on the list, but then neither is any Middle Eastern country, and I know for sure they come quite often as even one of the main Bangkok downtown hospitals (Bumungrad) now has all of their signs in Arabic as well with staff that speak Arabic.
