Chinese 152mm Type 83 indeed. Its 30 km range (38 km with ERFB-BB rounds) puts it in the same class as the more common Soviet 2A36.

Note that another obscure Chinese Type 83 towed gun exists, that one has a 122mm D-30 ordnance on a conventional carriage. For instance this article has both Type 83's mixed up.

The 122mm Type 83 isn't exactly "obscure", it's the standard Divisional-level howitzer of the PLA as of 2012.

That's true. I meant to say that the 122mm Type 83 isn't widely known / well documented. There are very few photo's even while it is reportedly widely used by the PLA.
