But it's part our their ancient and interesting diverse culture, and we should be proud to have them enrich us with it.

The sharia scolar even said to receive a lot of requests by western women, who committed adultery, to go to a islamic country in order to be stoned.
I've heard the Islamic country Morocco is an excellent place to get really, really stoned. And I must say, I really like the way this sheikh highlights one of his believes that is so recognisable for his Dutch hosts. Very polite.

Makes you wonder how many women would be open to a tongue-lashing?

I think he got confused between "getting stoned" on hash brownies and getting stoned in middle east.

Seeing that he claims he would ask to be stoned if found guilty of adultery, maybe we should throw together some money and send him an hooker. It's Amsterdam, after all.

    LOL!!!

I made the same mistake the first month i was in Holland which led to some weird conversation and then to laughs.
By default "get stoned" in the Netherlands, locals understand "get high on drugs" but for me it was the literal meaning.

I was like "dude I didn't say anything offensive, god i thought you were more tolerant here" or " no dude we do no not stone people that insult in Albania, what kind of BS is that" or "Albania is not a an Arab country, we do not stone people over there".

I can imagine the dutch women calling the crazy "man of god" and telling him "i deserve to get stoned".

PS: I don't even smoke or drink .... so don't get to funny conclusions.

And there's the problem, seems we all need an overhaul of our legal systems.

And don't forget the name means peace and they worship an iron meteorite that's not an idol.

I think we can make do without criminalising free speach.
I much rather live in a country where people like him can not be barred from entering, on legal grounds, than in a country where the government can do so on a whim.

Blondie Wilders must be wanking to this right now. It's almost as if Wilders and this guy were the best of butt buddies.

No, the only threat to my way of life I perceive is that if we were to adjust to idiots like him in any way.
