Default Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu denies threatening to deport GAY lover

FLORENCE, Ariz. - Nearly naked pictures of Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu surfaced online Friday, and now his team is having to answer some very uncomfortable questions. Nearly naked on a dating site, and his profile says he's seeking other men for ***.

An Arizona sheriff running for Congress as a Republican denied accusations Saturday that he had threatened to deport an alleged ex-lover, a Mexican national. In the process, he also resigned from a volunteer position with Mitt Romney's Arizona campaign and came out as gay.

What with the Republicans and this trend of gay ***? They're obsessed with it. Either trying to take away gay rights or being closet gays themselves. Unreal.

The Vegas rule doesn't even apply to Vegas. Ask guys whose girl found their bachelor party photos.

it's just like the arabs with israel. the evangelicals (be they right or left, though the GOP is the only party that openly panders to them) love to make a big deal about homo******ity. it's a sin and laws should be made blah blah blah. destroying society and whatnot. yet they couldn't give a **** about adultery or divorce or the other sins that are quite openly accepted by law. the US government is, what, 3 for 10 on the commandments being illegal and they are making a big deal about a sin that doesn't even rate the list!?!? smells like rah-rah BS to me.

it's just rallying the base and getting them all wound up for support reasons. a common enemy, even for completely illogical reasons, does wonders for a governemnt official.

btw, it isn't just the devout who do this. plenty of stupid baseless crap gets passed off for reasons of "fighting poverty", "the children", "world peace", "equality", "the environment", etc etc. sometimes they have a point. most times they are just keying on our emotions to prop them up and not criticize them.

we're all guilty of supporting these politicians to some extent.

Idiot. If you're dumb enough to post pictures like that on a gay dating website (or any site for that matter), you should not be carrying a badge and a gun. What ever happened to upstanding citizens serving the public? Jesus.

I could give a crap about this guy's s-e-xuality. But he has a major brain housing group flaw if he thinks that posting half nekked photos on a computer dating site wasn't going to turn up in either his political run for congressman or sheriff posted by an opponent or just by a p!ssed off employee. He's doubly stupid if he tried to threaten a former lover with deportation. That's a violation of Federal law for sure (a civil rights violation under color of law) and probably state law as well. What a muppet.
