Despite Rick Santorum I think I speak for most worldy Dutchmen if I say we highly prefer good relationships with the USA no matter whether they have a Democrat or Republican government. I'd hardly consider people like Chavez, Kirchener(although Peronism is neither right or left) and Morales as conservative in the way the US typically views conservatism(which is rather different from how the rest of the world defines it). No but in such places you'll more likely find people who are fundamentalist in their faith like Orthodox-protestant Dutchmen in the 19th century.
