    Default saving private ryan: the true story channel 5.

    this was on UK channel 5 over the weekend.

    some of it is ok, some of the "experiments" leave a bit to be desired.

    i think they have lost the fact it is "loosely based on" and not actual fact.

    I wasn't convinced with the bullet through the water experiment. I think that, given a greater distance from the weapon to the water, penetration would have been greater than the point blank distance that they used.

    exactly what i was thinking...plus it was an angled shot from higher.

    also the eardrum one...the scale was all wrong...and could be misleading.
