Around $9,15 usd/gallon here in cheeseland, Will soon hit that $10 Mein teil is praying for![]()
About 5.56$AUS here atm .
$5.00 a gallon
a us gallon = 3.78541 liters
diesel is on average £1.43 a litre here.
unleaded is on average £1.35 a litre
It's been said befor but many of you across the pond have no idea what $5+ a gallon can do to our economy here. It's not about us whining about it because we want to go the mall or the beach. When fuel goes up here, everything goes up with it including rent.
A gallon (im going to make a gallon a full 4 liter) here in brazil is around 6-7 US dollars. (2,50 brazilian reais each liter) And have 20% of alcohol inside so its not really pure gas.
$3:50 here in S. Texas....
problem?![]()
Gallon of gas where I live is between $4.10-$4.30 and that's just for 87 octane. I refuse to put anything less than 91 octane in my car cause of the type of engine it has so it's like $4.70 a gallon of something like that. I think I read somewhere California has the highest average gas prices in the US, but I'm not really sure.
I usually swap car's with my mother anytime I go anywhere further than downtown cause she drives a hybrid. My car gets like 18 miles per gallon with the way I usually drive it, 'bout 21 mpg if I'm on the freeway. The hybrid gets like 40mpg or something like that (it's an SUV).
We've led the country in more than a few ways...we've had the highest prices at the pump forever...what's ****ty is I remember my mom fillin up her car in the 90s for $13...$13!!!
time to trade the trucks for subcompacts

Well that might be true but the average Indian does get affected by the rise in fuel prices which I am sure a point you understand.
In Delhi which has the lowest fuel prices in the four metros I end up paying almost Rs.70/ ltr of petrol (something like 1.4 USD).
Also the factor that the Indian Government subsidizes the prices of Diesel (Rs. 40/ltr), Kerosene (at a ridiculous Rs.10/ltr) and LPG Gas(cooking). Some of the burden of this subsidy is passed on to the Petrol users and thus Petrol is always the most expensive fuel.
