    Why would they be unaware? And so what if they aren't? There's apparently a big shock in all this that I'm missing. It's quite possible the Israelis were also aware that the ATGMs were transferred to the Hezzies, before they faced them.

    what is wrong with russia? it supports syrian regime, it provide hezobollah with advanced anti-tank missiles, and it also support iran.

    It's trying (mesirably) to maintain influence in the middle east. Because of such, it has become a bane to nations like Jordan and Turkey. Russia has a lot to lose on many angles of middle eastern politics regardless of how things go down in Syria and in Iran.
