Default Help locate spots in North Korea from image

This image is from Kim Jong un inspecting the North Korean long range missile unit that is tasked with handling and deploying the Norths ballistic missiles.

what is visible on the table are maps, but what is interesting is the maps spread out on table has some thumb tacks in, these are likely marking area's were the Norths missile units are deployed. I am going to try and track down these area's in google earth but was wondering if anyone can tell the region those maps are indicating??

I'd say these maps show parts of South Korea.

that was my first guess but I wanted to check with people here who might have served in south Korea and might be able to tell if the maps are outline from the coastline shown on the maps are South Korea or if they are North Korea, if it is North Korea then was a big slip up on their part showing positions of tactical ballistic missile units.

The middle map on the table has a coastal pattern that matches farther up the coast of North Korea that wold put the tack in inside North Korea. Am no expert so if anyone else that has a better idea can tell if it is North Korea terrain shown let me know.

From those sources above, I think that is defensive positions of the Unit 842, The Korean People's Army where Kim Jung Un visited 8 days ago.

The Unit 842 commands all missiles and nukes forces of KPA. the Unit 842 is believed to be located somewhere in South Pyongan Province(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Pyongan_Province)

If you are lucky enough you can find that coastlines on Google Earth I think...

I know what Unit 842 commands, I am just trying to confirm if the maps on the table in the first picture is showing coast line is in the South or if its North. if it is the North then the marker could indicate the general deployed area's of launchers..

I just cant see North Korea that is so tight on letting information out let the press in to take pics of commanders with generals and have maps showing were currently deployed units are.

I think South Korea can go ahead and shut down its intelligence service. Mp.net has it covered.

Yes I'm sure you're right. I'm sure that's the thing to do. Wait, I've got a better idea. Lets transfer the whole squad off the base. On second thought- lets transfer the whole Winward Division off the base. John, tell those boys to get down off the fence. They're packing their bags. Tom?

I don't know what you're expecting as the picture is too small to recognize any particular detail. However assuming that those maps are arranged in north-south order, I'd say that they're depicting North Korean area as such complicated shoreline facing southwards doesn't occur much in South Korea unless it's far southern shore, which has little strategic value for the missile units.
