    Default Worlds Worst Tourists: Americans

Other respondents were in Australia, Canada, Ireland and the United Kingdom. But even American respondents buttonholed their compatriots as the worst travelers from a list of 16 nationalities. (Canadians and Australians also put Americans in the No. 1 spot. Irish respondents pointed to U.K. residents and U.K. respondents gave Germans the nod. Dunno about that. Americans come to Jamaica by the herd load and we have no problem mon! Only thing I can say is that they are very concerned about their safety and tend to stay put in the hotels enjoying the activities, occasionally venturing out for a little local action. Otherwise the Euros especially Germans roam and stray all over the place for some irie vibes and good ganja.

Ever seen a rented motorhome full of Germans stopped in the middle of the road, all out of the car, attempting to pet a wild buffalo?

How does "none of the above" translate into 'displaying more tolerance and open-mindedness' than the other nationalities?

I think the words worse and tourist are a perfect match. As to nationality, I don't think it matters.

x2. None of the above could just mean "you didn't give me the option I was thinking of"

There are some expensive places and some cheap places. If you want to get sh1tfaced, it can be done very cheaply. It's more a cultural thing. Here a lot of people see getting very drunk as the sign of a good night, or fun in itself.

I was just kidding, but a beer at around 6:30 a.m. in that commercial didnt help to battle the stereotypes of british tourists in germany

Should see us in places like Minorca. Drink until you're sick, pass out, wake up feeling hungover, declare it to be a good night, spend an hour or two chilling by the pool with water and then start drinking again around lunchtime.

And finally, among the most popular celebrity Twitter users Americans would most like to hit the road with (in their dreams, anyway): 1. Ellen DeGeneres 2. Oprah Winfrey 3. Taylor Swift 4. Leonardo DiCaprio and 5. Katy Perry.
I'm hoping they only questioned women...

Do Marines count as tourists? Marines in deployment, usually spells trouble for local bars.
