Except Matthis Chiroux never served in Combat. He was a Army Photographer/Journalist who spent 3 days in Afghanistan (without a weapon and never leaving the wire). He is a self admitted rapist (claims to have raped a Filipina women while on assignment from Japan). and Drug dealer/user IVAW member (iraq veterans against the war- in his case never been to Iraq because he deserted for a year) This is who RT holds up as an expert on the troops?

How about I get some Russians who say Russia committed Genocide in Checnya and Georgia and film it? its about as truthful as RT is....

I'm aware of some negative sentiment towards RT news on this site and I was wondering where this stems from. Does RT have credibility issues or is there some sort of controversy surrounding it?
I did a quick google search and didn't find anything too crazy on them.

You don't need to be far right or anything to be able to define garbage. No one is a fox fanboy but I wouldn't even equate the two, as so many members fall back on that time and time again. Their POV is a pile of **** more akin to a amateur blog than just bad news outlet.

Let's be honest here.. the people that watch Fox News as their main outlet for American news are usually not the brightest bulbs in the room.

You'd be hardpressed to find a news channel openly advocating political choices that would essentially lead to extreme strife. worldwide. but alas. Fox do it on a weekly basis.

Just saying. It might not be as bad as RT.com, few things are.. but it aint all that great neither.
