German newspaper to strip topless women from covers

For more than 25 years, Bild, Germany's largest-circulation newspaper, has been running topless women on its front page each morning.


But the tabloid has decided to abandon the daily ritual. On Friday, Bild announced that the bare-chested beauty on its March 9 edition would be the final one.


"I am the last," a headline above the final Bild Girl, Eva from Poland, declared.

You're the one making the statement, surely the burden of proof is on you? I don't have any thoughts on it one way or the other but if you have proof that this is to appease that other religion I'd love to see it.

That's entirely false.

They did not completely remove nekkid tittays from the newspaper, they moved them on Page 3 like "The Sun" always has.
The reason for this apparantly is an in-house survey taken on the occasion of the International Womens Day. Apparently, most Bild employees decided that **** on the front page are somehow degrading towards women, but are perfectly fine a 2 pages further.

So, unfortunately, your muslim conspiracy doesn't quite work out.

Regarding all your answers to the first reply: I don't get his post at all and that's the only reason I didn't respond until now. I don't see any relation to the original post exept for the fact that it concerns us Germans. Can anyone enlighten me why you respond to this guy? Is he insulting us? I don't get it - it's more than just random? (that's what it seems to me)
