The main health issue with food is just that we eat too much of it.
A good point is raised though. Especially with those who are lower income, a good chunk of food that is bought is chock-full of synthesized preservatives, flavor additives, hydrogenated fats, etc. All that in the end can not be good for you.

Also, it the issue isn't so much eating too much; it is more that, at least here in the US, many people end up eating very large portions at irregular intervals and then don't exercise it off. If one wants to eat a lot, it is much healthier to eat smaller portions at regular intervals, with those portions having as much natural ingredients as possible.

Oddly enough, I gave this one a try. My main problem was I wasn't sure what "pair" was, so I guessed you meant "pear".

It was good, though, I'm not a big avocado fan. But my kid really liked it.

Anyone know a good substitute for shaving cream? The ingredients in Barbasol don't really agree with my skin, plus, they use Sodium Lareths in their ingriedents, which is bad for your skin. Any help would be appreciated!

When you want something from the internet, best to ask directly.

Creating homemade shaving creams are really a challenge and require allot of chemicals and such. I have extremely sensitive skin as well but I use skintamate (Spelling)sensitive shaving cream that woman use. You could also try a green tea bag and damp it around your face and beard. This is usually for after you shave but it may be used for a shaving gel as well.

lol. well, what I was getting at was some sort of remedy, maybe a "secret" formula or substitute that someone has (i was thinking Noah, some of his recipes in this thread have been really good). water doesn't cut it, because the shave doesn't turn out as smooth as I would like.
buuut, i still found the LMGTFY site pretty funny, I'll keep it in mind to use that for people later. I followed the links there, but they weren't anything I haven't seen before.

Thanks Noah, I'll try the Skintamate, but I'll be sure to have my girlfriend buy it for me haha. I think I'll try the tea bags tonight also.
Also, my grandfather told me if you rub some Aloe vera on your skin and leave a light layer over your face, that works as well.
Cool, now I've got 3 options, thanks eveyone

Something I've tried and works nicely is grilled Sea Bream. There are organic-certified farms over here.

Make three 45deg incissions on each side, put small lemon slices (lemon cover on the outside).
Add some more lemon slice, half-garlic clove, extra virgin olive oil (Greek if possible) and oregano in the belly.

Then brush some hard sea salt, organo and more olive oil on each side.

    Grill 3-5 min each side

PS. Works the same for Seabass. Both of these fish are awesome.
