I was just thinking about Diablo today, remembering about how that music from Tristram village gets stuck in your head during the wee hours of the night.
I never got through Diablo II. I think the last place I was at was fighting those floaty b-tards in the "stairs and platforms" level.
When DII came out I went through it all (and Lord of Destruction), and then went back and replayed DI again. Hell, when DIII was announced I did it all over again. Diablo is one of my all time favorites. Never got into online though.
I'm evil or morally wrong, or playfully mischievous, or wonderful and/or excellent
I played a lot online in passworded games because it's all a butch of annoying little mother****ers out there. I still play DII occasionally, especially when there's news on DIII and I get the craving for it.
I loved Diablo so much that I went back and played it as different characters. I never liked Diablo II as much, as it seemed I could never get the spells to work the same way during combat as in Diablo. It got frustrating and I gave up.
I also like to play the games I like one more time in German, as opposed to English, if that option is available.
For the last five or eight years though, I have avoided even loading games on my PCs. I found this is a handy way to prevent myself from spending too much time on them.
