So... Is that fatty-fat fatty Error 37 dude for real? Man Cave poster on the back wall... Hmmm...... He needs to get outside and talk a nature walk.....
Dude I dont think anyone here was a hardcore D2 player like you were. Its kind of hard to say how you would like it.
I myself didnt like D2, this one is much better. I also thought that this repetetive farming of the same boss to roll the loot dice again and again in D2 was retarded. Many former hardcore D2 players seemed to like it though and are unhappy now that they have to do whole areas instead of just farming bosses. But to each his own.
In other news, just finished normal mode. Strangely it became more and more easy the farther i got, I just stormed through everything. Was really boring. Even Diablo was instantly dead.
Maybe I outleveled the content.

I hear you on the farming. But OTOH, that was the only way that really good stuff could get introduced into the D2 economy (without editing and duping). One of the downsides, of course, is that now you get walls of advertising text from character shills who pop in, and you can't even see what's going on in the game.
So, in D3, are good items pretty much more evenly distributed, not concentrated in certain characters/areas? I can see how that would change things, maybe even make the entire game more interesting.
Yeah, most likely (if anything like D2), you probably graduated from the target character lvl band for Normal. Although sometimes it's just a case of having rolled a favorable set of monsters (that fit your character's strengths and weaknesses). I've had that experience when I was playing D2 untwinked; going through an Act, thinking, "Damn, I am godly". Then the next time, getting my ass handed to me by a bunch of Physical Immunes. Games are good for teaching humility.
If I leave to Part II can my character return to Part I at any time?
So if I select one of the Chapter 1 quests it will take me back to New Tristram? And can I leave any time back to Part II or do I have to finish the quests again?
Visited Americas server around afternoon and created another character there (Which Doctor - don't like, it so I will play it when Europe server go down; btw, I went for the female version, without knowing that when you start a new game the character is with no mask and undressed - it reminded me of this "crazy" Bermuda girl I knew once and the image of her doing black magic is scary).
Once I got my level 32 Barbarian, I finished the game. It took me 4 times to finally kill the last guy. Now that I finished the game, I feel cheated. The previews led me to believe I will fight monsters that will fill the screen - not the case. Also, I see less replay value compared to D2. You can't change the acts levels from the game to go through a quick boss killing-spree, also not enough boss level characters, the fact that you don't have skill points means that only one character per type will suffice... what is then the point of a character build, etc.
Good game overall, but I am already getting it out of my system.
P.S. Who wants to take my bet that in the expansion you end up fighting Imperius.
You can go back to previous bosses and difficulties, I don't see a problem here.
Not as easy as in D2... but that is not the point, I am trying to stop playing the damn thing. Any excuse is a good excuse.
Stupid Blizzard heroine... 4 days and no one good night sleep between them... I want my nights back. And I blame all you guys for convincing me to try it.![]()
P.S. How do you resell a digital download?
So what is up with the auction house. Seems like stuff going for 300-500 when sold to a merchant is priced in the 20,000-40,0000 range in the AH? I just placed a lvl 22 Defiant Helix(rare) on there for 24,000. Buyout at 30. Going to LOL if anyone actually buys it.
I cant **** sold at the AH, so im just dumping my prices..
The auction house doesnt let your sort results on anything except buyout price and only has 46 pages of inventory...
Really piss poor programing buy Blizzard, they need to fix that..
Craftmens' training pages drop from Nightmare (elites most often, but can be under any stone or corpse too), and the whole books on Hell.
Still, I don't have a single item from Auction, and no selling too - have to Salvage everything for reagents to craft. Amount of droppable gold is barely enough, so I might have to sell something with really good stats in the future anyway. Or just farm elites, which is boring unless there is still a challenge.
