better 12 years later than EA's one ****ty game a year policy until the franchise dies a horrible death.

Diablo III looks bad? I dunno, I'm a very casual gamer, but it looks pretty spectacular to me.

Not that there are many dungeon crawlers out there, but it looks on par with most modern RTS/MOBA games, or even better. What are we comparing it with? Dota? Dawn of War?

I don't really know who is more evil, EA or Activision. They are both pretty bad in the commercialization regard. Perhaps Blizzard has a bit more power in creative terms, but not much. They also make horrible decisions (splitting games into parts, encouraging farming by having in-game marketplace, etc).

Try to run a VM system of an older windows (or new, whichever) and try that? Bootcamp i think it is called on Mac. Or if you really want, go on craigslist and buy some really old piece of sh!t of a PC and run the game on that. Bet you can buy a pentium D or old AMD A64 3800+ system for $50.

15 MAY 2012? Yeah, right! It's probably 15 MAY 2013 or some ****.. I played the **** out of Diablo I & II (Lord of Destruction) but this release -- even if it's legitimately scheduled for release this May -- is far beyond my proximate interest.

I'd rather chainsaw bayonet someone on Gears of War 3... And I don't feel like running for my life from South Koreans ("huk huk ^^") in Hardcore mode

I wouldn't be surprised if D3 ends up as a disappointment for many players due to their high expectations. They expect Jesus and feel disappointed if they "only" get Elvis.

The gameplay videos I have seen so far aren't that spectacular or interesting. I think I'll have to wait until May before I make my final decision.

D3 = shitty art style, forced online, less classes, no skill trees, pay2win

    I'll pass.

I read somewhere that you have to be always online to play the game. Not buying if that's true.

Torrenting if it's true. I had enough troubles playing Starcraft2 and HoMM5 with unstable connection.
