Yes you need to be logged in all the time. You can play on your own, but there is no real distinction between single and multiplayer. Changing between the two, inviting people to your party etc works very fluid.
Dont know anything about mac, but 512 MB graphic card should be no porblem. Requirements for this game are not too high.
And I think the game is really fun, especially in a group. Quite grindy, but that is to be expected for the genre of course.
Never cared about the graphics. Sound and Music, on the other hand.. It was Matt Uelmen back then, I even managed to remember this name.
Thanks for the info!
So if you are without net you can not play at all, or is there a guest account like for StarCraft 2 (although I guess, if you don't have access to your characters, it would be pretty useless).
And let me guess, the characters are kept online, so you have zero control for your saved games.
... D3 looks like a fun game, but these small details make me think twice if I want to buy it (I was without internet at home for a few months, a year ago). I'm still on the fence!
These days I have two "sets" of games to play - online and offline ones. As I never rush to play the newest (neither freetime nor desire) titles it's quite a collection now, stockpiled and waiting to be unpacked and played. Basically I'm stocked with entertainment for years ahead, but those are offline ones. Now if this tendency with online-singleplayer remains I'm screwed![]()
Okay, so what's the deal with the fat chick Barbarian?
Wanted:
Got:
Other than that minor quibble lovin' it so far.
I have ordered. Have you guys played it or beta?
Just bought its digital version ("insta-tied to Battle.net account" one). Downloading the game client right now, will try to login in an hour or so.
