Just realised that the gold, the stash and craftsmen levels are shared throughout the account. Very tempting.

You'd only be able to use the gold for quite some time though. I cleared out my stash, and all that's in it now are rares that require a minimum of lvl 10. Same with much of the craftsmen stuff(except the jeweler?) though making their levels shared was a good call by blizzard. It saves you from having to level them up over and over again.

Does anyone actually buy items? Most anything I find in shops are crap compared to what I loot.... I think I've bought one thing.

Nope. I saved the gold to invest it into the blacksmith, and continue to use the stuff I've found during the carnage. Lots of fun, so far.

ACTII starts to give some scary moments in terms of survival, I can see lotsa troubles in the distant Hardcore/Hell future there. Probably the main difference from D1-2 combat now is the way for how mobs appear to combat - suddenly, often untouchable until melee range. And Champion-grade mobs use more control on players. Can't wait till higher difficulties now

I fvcking hate those poisionous wasps. I was kicking ass and rarely even had to worry about health and then the first time I run into them I was dead in a few seconds. Where are my throwing axes from D2?

Got it yesterday and installed it late last night and played it for about an hour. I'm afraid I will be sucked in and will neglect my tan and BBQ'n this summer

The bug swarms and the little annoying poisonous imp fvckers(not the actual imps in the game, but i don't know their proper name. All i know is they tend to explode on contact and release a cloud of gas) are even worse. The Keep Depths in Act III kicked my ass when I first went down there, as I just got swamped by enemies.

Ranged class here, so wasps are not a problem. But those phasing serpent-warriors are.. Have to have an extensive room to kite and trap, so if it's a cramped place I'm in a world of hurt. No deaths yet but only by a great deal of luck.

I appeared to have forgotten that I'm a melee person by nature. So, playing a wizard is interesting, to say the least. I died twice on the Butcher on normal (still on normal, lvl 17). But the game is fun -- stopped playing for a bit after I was trying to clear the rest of the Act I dungeons I missed for the achievement...so far, pretty fun. I have two items on the AH -- I'm sure I priced them out of anyone trying to buy them, but it's worth a shot.

I've got a couple things up there for sale. Nothing great but affordable for a low level character. One cool thing (the ONLY cool thing) about getting dropped from the network momentarily is I'd just thrown a 114 shield in my auction. I got dropped, and when I came back in the shield was in my auction and ANOTHER one was still in my stash.

One thing I dislike about the auction (I caved and decided to try to buy something) is that even if you're not the high bidder it ties up whatever gold you bid until the auction is over.

I've gotten to about 45,000 gold at the end section of act 3. Money is not that much of an issue, unless you're going to bid on really souped up loot.
