Default New Development in Body Armor

Anyone have hands on experience with the level II or level III body armor made by this company? Lots of video on the net of the plates absorbing tons of punishment with no penetration, ricochet, or splatter. Supposedly a new alloy metal developed and patented by this company.

The Kryron line received NIJ 06 certification.

Most of the info on the web is first party releases through free any paid PR websites so it should be taken with a grain of salt, but the NIJ06 cert is legit.

Discovery channel just did a segment on this armor. Looks amazing. Wonder why it has not caught on yet? What could be the issue? If i was going into combat or if I was a LEO I would want to be wearing this stuff....no doubt!

The plates are not even curved from what I can see.

Also in the video, they dont mention what ceramic plate they're shooting against. And it appears they are using a Mosin Nagant against the ceramic plate. Then they use what appears to be a 223/556 rifle against their terminator plate.

Not very objective in their testing.

I'm going to guess that the body armor already in service with the Military and LE already meets or exceeds DOD/LE requirements.
