Thanks for the update. The new football game, kicking Zimmerman around.
Gangs are usually apart of the problem here. If they're not scoping out my neighbors, they're stealing from mailboxes to commit fraud. I don't think I'd go all Zimmerman on anyone, considering what he had to go through. Most of them run off.
All this media attention is going to ruin his life, not to mention the amount of people who would ignore the court's decisions and try to lynch him. I don't think they have something like the Witness Protection Program for people like Zimmerman, so he'll probably go into hiding and have to wear a vest in public.Imagine the reactions if Zimmerman's found not guilty.
I was kidding for the most part. I've lived among the Avenues gang for years. The Key is to live in an neighborhood with a dominant gang which in my case happened to have one of the oldest and most powerful gangs around, when you have this there isn't any competition and little local violence. That said, if you have a problem with the gang you're fucked and have to move quickly.
Casey Anthony was placed into protective custody after her aquittal, I imagine something similiar will happen for Zimmerman.
You know, if he is found innocent, which I think he is.
Riots? Yeah right. There will be something else on tv that night.
An FBI investigation into the shooting of black teenager Travyon Martin concluded that there's no evidence the suspect, George Zimmerman, was motived by racial bias or hatred.

http://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/M...162190305.html“(Sanford investigating Police Officer Chris) SERINO believed that ZIMMERMAN’s actions were not based on MARTIN’s skin color rather based on his attire, the total circumstances of the encounter and the previous burglary suspects in the community,” the FBI wrote in the report. “Serino described ZIMMERMAN as overzealous and as having a ‘little hero complex’, but not as a racist.”
I think it could get a little nutty.....surely Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will be doing some protesting and fundraising....and some more fundraising and protesting.
Those clowns are like the Donald Trumps of outrage and free media exposure...a bit like Donald Trump "running for President" and getting free media exposure.
I wonder if they'll bring Tawan Brawley and the Duke University hookers with them?
I think I read one of the Duke U hookers is getting done for murder.....isn't that special.....
I don't understand the "racial" part in the "racial profiling" in this case...
I wouldn't care about some guy walking down the street in my neighbourhood like Zimmerman did (nor would I approach a person before he did anything) but even so, I don't think that just because he figured that Trayvon Martin might be "trouble" that it was based on race.
I used to "profile" people all the time back in Serbia and they were all obviously caucasian, when I go out clubbing I looked around and yeah, "profiled" people based on the way they carry themselves, the way they look (clothes, haircut, tattoo's etc) so I could know who could "be trouble" (although I always looked for a group of people, not just one individual) before trouble even begins. I do the same thing now, here in Sydney with people of all races and backgrounds. So If I look at a group (again I use group not an individual like Zimmerman did because as I said I don't really care if there is only one guy) black guys with hoodies, and baggy pants carrying themselves in what I perceive to be that thuggish/cocky/threatening way I will most definitely notice them and be on at least small alert. Does that make me a racist? I don't believe so because I will act exactly the same way if I see a bunch of big Serbs with short haircuts, lacoste or sergio tacchini tracksuits or bunch of blue eyed, blonde Aussies drinking beer at the parking lot of a beach where I came with my wife. Again, it's all about the way they are carrying themselves.
I was not there, I have not seen Trayvon Martin etc, he might have looked totally unthreatening and even if he did look as I described, thats still nothing illegal or wrong...but to say "so what if he looked like this or that....I also have a hoodie on all the time!" is really naive.
6-7 years ago (when I was 18-19) I was one of those short haircut, lacoste tracksuit Serbs and trust me I didn't wear that tracksuit because I was working out, and I was well aware of the perception I'm "giving" (couldn't find a better word, sorry).
Again, my point is not that Zimmerman was right for approaching Trayvon but "profiling" does not have to be about race...and a lot of people and the media are trying to make it all about that.
