Impressive work by French authorities! Not an easy case to solve so fast. Too bad this animal will have 3 hot halal meals in prison instead of a bullet in his skull.

Not yet JJC. Not yet. He's not under custody for the moment.

EDIT: live on radio: someone calling from the building where the killer is entrenched. Not easy for the RAID: it's not a lone house the killer is occupying.

Britain's Sky News network is reporting that negotiations with the suspect in the Toulouse terror attack, who is currently under siege in his apartment, have failed. An elite French police unit is preparing to raid the building. (Ynet)

The murderer was known to the police for his visits to Pakistan and Afghanistan.
He was identified because he used the computer of his brother to contact the first soldier he killed. He also tried to make repaint the motorbike at a local garage.

I bet some people are pissed that it wasn't some crazy right winger.

Would have been much more convenient.

I remember the inquiry after the attack Rue Copernic. French politicians put pressure on the police to keep focussing the inquiry at the extreme-right even though there were plenty of evidences the perpetrators were Palestinians who came from Lebanon…

An elite French anti-terror police unit raided a home early Wednesday in search of a suspect with possible Al Qaeda ties in the deadly massacre at a French Jewish school, French media reported.
