Default Gun sales explode as election looms

Sales of handguns and ammunition are booming across the country, and retailers say itís all about the November election.
Gun shop owners around the nation told FoxNews.com that sales, brisk ever since President Obama was elected, have spiked upward in recent months. And manufacturers are having so much trouble keeping up with the demand that one, Sturm, Ruger & Co., canít keep up with demand. The Southport, Conn.-based company has had to suspend new orders after taking orders for more than 1 million guns in the first three months of the year. Smith & Wesson sales are way up, as well.

Great, I guess since sales are booming we can expect the prices of ammo to sky rocket yet again.

Hey, I'll give credit where credit's due. I wouldn't be surprised if many gun manufacturers are praying for 4 more years of Obama.

    Edit. Oops.

Pretty much same article different souce. My bad.

On a side note RGR stocks are up 125% over the past year and 287% over the past 5 years. Looks like they are having some success anytime somebody mentions guns or anything for that matter.

If you have access to a machine shop there are actually some 95% finished AR lowers up on Gunbroker that require no FFL involvement.

It's hilariously ironic that Obama ended up serving a lot of free advertisement to guns salesmen.
