Exactly, radar guided missiles are the same as saturating the sky with AAA...a blind squirrels game.

And as for the "they claim" stories...one should always look up where he read that, what he thinks that "they claim", first...in most cases it is not really "them" who claim it but some anonymous on a website (like for instance, right now in this forum, or that other Russian website from the turn of the century) who says that "they claim they did this and that", while they officially do not at all claim that.
