Default Switzerland: Complete freedom with Guns

When I first lived in Zürich, one of the first memories I had was walking down an immaculately clean street, looking around at 18th and 19th century stone architecture, then I remember walking onto a beautiful train – that looked like it was just purchased the day before to get onto the other side of the lake. The first thing I noticed when walking onto the train, were 2 people in civilian dress, holding 2 MG-51’s with the barrels to the floor. That same day I saw 65, year old man, on a mountain bike with just a pair of shorts on, with an SG 550 strapped to his back as if it was a pair of golf clubs.

This link will take it from there:

Yeah, they didn't bat an eyelash at banking the oven-maker's money.

    Yeah they were pretty complicit.

I find the US pointing to countries with less strict firearms laws is hilarious since it's not exactly a fair comparison, nor does it take into account cultural differences (which, IMO, are the major contributing factors).

Sort of like when Europeans comment on our healthcare laws?

The anti-gun people do it too.

Funny you should write that. Anyone else see a 1981 film called, "The Boat is Full"?

It's related since it's all related to carrying around firearms. And it was only a general comment, not an invitation to debate.
