Gulf War I, Navigation, Howard Sun Compass Mk.III

I have recently obtained an example of a Howard Mk.III sun-compass as it was still given out to British units during the first gulf war in the early 1990ies.

I would really like to see this instrument on photos and to learn whatever information is available. If anybode here in this forum could be of help - such would be highly appreciated
