Taiwan leads Asia in media freedom

Taiwan outpaces all other Asian countries in terms of how its people rate the level of media freedom in the country, according to a report released by Gallup Inc., a research-based performance-management consulting firm.

It is just perception, Ordie. As the article said, Cambodians and those from other regions rated a higher media freedome perception than say Japan or other Asian countries.
