Ive been in both Egypt and turkey, with my Israeli passport, some long time ago, but not problem at all.
So, just some advice, in Yerushalaim, there used to be some Jazz clubs very interesting there, in very old buildings, there are many museums, the Military cemetery in Mount Herzl is a must. Then you can get a copy of some Independence war, like Oh Jerusalem and try to get in the places depicted in the book, so you can get an idea of the problems of today's Yerushalaim. Eat at king of Shawarma in the corner of King George and Agripa.
While we are on travel trips to Israel, which area has the best hummus?
This place in Tel Aviv - Look at my buddies face, he can barely contain his need for his shawarma and hummus.
Wish I could remember the name of the joint, it borders a traffic circle with a fountain and there is an ice cream shop across the street. About 1/2 KM south of the American embassy and 1 KM North of Jaffa. Just follow the sidewalk along the beach, you can't miss it.
