The US is the same then - each state is technically its own country. And each has wildly varying cultures, even in state depending on the location
* - there is no one American culture
* - there is no official language, many spoken
* - by far not one religion
What he's saying is you should consolidate them...we don't have Wisconwood, Illiwood, Caliwood, etc etc
Its a joke
it's not like people in Wisconsin and Florida speak Bengali and Tamil respectively.Last time i checked both speak English.Unlike in india majority of the population in US speaks english. The cultural differences in USA is not that severe as in india.I know america is diverse but atleast everybody can relate to each other unlike in india. There is no relation between a person from tamil nadu and kashmir apart from the fact that both are indians. The only relation between the head hunting nagas of nagaland and lacto vegetarians of gujrat is that they both belong to same nation.
Also i must tell you that india is the only country where people belong to different linguistic groups.North indians, east indians and west indians belong to indo-european family.South indians belong to Dravidian linguistic family.North east Indians and Himalayan regions of north india belong to tibeto-Burmese group. The tribals belong to austro-asiatic group. The Andaman are linguistic isolate
