the worst thing is that Cartagena for its tourist interest and atractives in the last years has turned into a *** tourist atraction. All hookers around the country goes there during high tides of tourist activity, specially in the Summer (mid year) and during first days of the of january. I saw many europeans, canadians, americans and specially israelies got creazy for Colombian girls. Those Israelies who finnished their military service goes to Colombia for almost a 15 days tour, including Cartagena, Santa Marta and Bogota. I have to deal with that during my job at the Israeli Embassy in Bogota almost ten years ago. we use to call them backpackers!!!
So I dont blame those secret service guys, the probably have been in Cartagena for almost a week ago or more. I cant imagine what they may have done in Cartagena in that time before Obama arrived yesterday!!!

The rumors has spread around the globe. One of the news from the journalist who gave the news is that a group of agents from the US Secret Service took the hookers to their Hotel, "Hotel Caribe" a few days before that US President Obama arrived to Cartagena. As a matter of gossip all agents involved in this scandal are married.
the scandal came up becuase one of the agents didnt pay one of the hookers their "exclusive" service.
