    They infact stole the idea from Heston Blumenthal who created Egg and Bacon Ice cream that won him his Michelin star ...

    I just lost a bunch or respect for the Michelin star. Making ice cream out of everything is a retarded culinary fad that makes me want to puke. At least he didn't stack everything for his presentation. And even if it was a good idea it would be gawddammed disgusting after Burger King got a hold of it.

    Are you a qualified Chef y/n or you just a online food critic ..... how can you base your opinion when you only being pre judgemental when you haven't tasted it ..


    Cooking it all about being creative ,, and pushin the boundaries .. especially when it comes to plaudits and awards ... and the rewards that come from it . .,

    You don't have to be a mechanic to recognize a fast car. You don't have to be a tailor to recognize good fashion. You don't have to be a barber to recognize a good haircut. I don't have to be a chef to recognize good taste.

    I will give you, "pushing boundaries" certainly gets you attention. but this kind of cuisine is the culinary equivalent to runway fashion. It produces some innovative design but nothing most people would ever want to wear.

    And I have tried a variety of bacon sweet gimmick foods....they are just that. This just happens to combine bacon on sweet trend with everything made into ice cream trend.

    The Fat Duck knocked out pretty standard Michelin fair when he got his first star he slowly introduced the novel stuff as the restaurant reputation grew and he was not the first to introduce meat as an ice cream flavor it was a US ice cream maker.
