    mazda 323 (2002) -still runs great decent fuel economy if regularly serviced.

    i think if you r buyibg a new car , one should keep it for at least 10 years -unless u take them to war, after the 10 years are still as good as new.

    2004 VW Bora (jetta in US) 150 diesel Sport, nice car, goes like the clappers when i need it to. Want to replace it with a nearly new Golf GTD but I'm saving for my own house/flat so it'll have to wait...

    2004 Toyota Corolla 60,000+ miles

    (the Toyota replaced a 1991 Volvo 240 Wagon which had around 200,000 miles. I regret the swap.)
