The question isn't whether climate is changing. It's whether Human activity has caused, or is expediting it.

You see, the idea of climate change is very beneficial to those in positions able to exploit it. Governments have used the threat of climate change to draw up new taxes, and regulations, and the private sector is making a killing off of "going green".

Well, it's always been true, "There's a sucker born every minute." If blowhards like Gore actually practiced what they preach it might carry more weight. Apparently conservation is for the little people though.

Throw in the usual "blah blah blah Al Gore" nonsense from Lutz and it isn't really any surprise the public in the US (on both sides of the coin) hold opinions that are not backed up by scientific evidence. Well it's actually not fake now, and we can no longer use historical fluctuations in global temperature as evidence that global warming may not be caused by humans

A team of UK scientists have now concluded that dinosaurs burped and farted out so much methane (Methane is also no longer a chemical compound, but one of those god forsaken greenhouse gasses that we all fear) that they caused global warming on the same scale as human actions.

Whether or not people should start using sources that cause the greenhouse effect. I think it would be unfair not to, for future generations. If nations wanted to they could do it within 2 or 3 decades at most. Where i live we've already started. In 2020 20% of electricity has to come from windmills. Ofc thats not counting solar, wave, nuclear and other stuff.
