How are the Samaritans (Israelite Religious group) treated by the Israelis vis a vis with the general West Bank Palestinian population?

This creation of horror stories of "Israel persecuting Christians" is largely an attempt by Pallywood to drudge up old anti-semitic Christian vs Jewish sentiments that have largely been dead since the end of WW2.

Couple of points. 1) When Palestinian identity was rooted first and foremost in the arab nationalism, Christians played an important role in the movement, including leadership roles in various terrorist organizations (PFLP, DFLP, to a smaller degree PLO). Now that the islamists have pushed the secular nationalists to the margins, the role of Christians has decrease accordingly. 2) Palestinian Christian are typically better educated, come from wealthier families, and have connections/relatives in the West. Depressed economic conditions, conflict without clear resolution in sight, strengthening of the ultra-religious islamists make immigration an appealing option for them and they have more opportunities to leave then muslims. Moreover, rampant immigration tends to be a self-reinforcing process: as more and more Christians leave, the remaining population finds itself to be a more insignificant and threatens minority. Furthermore, the community begins to disintegrate - no money to maintain communal organizations and facilities, no eligible marriage partners, etc. So even more people leave.

Sameritans are such a miniscule minority... less than 1,000 in the entire world. Mostly because almost all of them were converted to Islam.

It is obvious however that they prefer to live under Israeli authority.

Ordie reported my post above, See he can respond and not just blabber stuff and ignore replies as he usually does.

Ordie ( mailto:divito.tony@gmail.com ) has reported this post:

    http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums...36#post6143136

This is part of this thread:
    Plight of Palestinian Christians
    http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums...ead.php?211770

This is the reason that the user gave:
    Baseless accusations.
I know he does not speak out against injustice, if he did he would speak out for injustice for all people not just a target or too.

I know he does not address the issues of humanity, because he ignores the death of innocent people elsewhere.

I know he does not speak out against the Palestinian being murdered by Hamas, Fatah, and the other terrorists in the Palestinian who murder innocent people, both Palestinians and Israelis.

Ordie if you want to know what the provacation is, read your posts and read the replies to your post and the fact you rarely answer questions when you post garbage. You are at best a TROLL................. at worse...... I am not sure. Maybe you need to troll some where else, or participate in the discussions as a Mature well balance adult.

A discussion is a exchange between individuals, a Troll just post stuff to get a rise and never responds. .......... That is not without provocation, read the many replies to your post just in this one thread or the many others that you trolled other members. You do come across as a bigot, when question, you either do not answer or change the subject.

BTW, I mean everything I said in the post above, there is a reason why there is no peace. Your support and people like you have a lot to do with it. Arafat made billions with yours and those like you help. I guess if there is any comfort in that, you are in the millions of people who have.

Not the first time. Sort of badge of honor in most cases.

That post didn't require a reporting and I imagine he did it because you're level headed. I can think of a mod or three that would have binned him for such an unwarranted action.

It's not the most classy and intellectual response, but... LOLOLOLOL.
It has given me satisfaction that Ordie has now officially been declared a bigotred troll. I like this forum a lot and I relish the vivid and varied discussions. It's not Ordie's opinion I take offence at, even when I can be seen argueing against it; it's his disrespectful and provocative discussion style.

A swing and a miss for 60 Minutes and Ordie to illicit an anti-semetic response from people who normally don't have a stake in the current situation.

And Muck, Ordie doesn't have a discussion style. He levels ridiculous claims then disappears...as quickly as he appeared.
