It wasn't my Junker (my ancestors were not serfs but free peasants) but close to it.

    Ahhh... Willytee!

I love that old '53 Ford pickup's grill. It has a bit of "jet age" aerostyle. Most old pickups look old, but that one could look fast and mean with the right paint and wheels.

This has to be restored back to Pabst Blue Ribbon glory! Where did you get this beauty?

I saw a beautiful Corvair Monza convertible yesterday.
There is a extreme price rise over here. Just have been on one of the largest fairs/trade shows for oldtimers in Europe and the market has been constantly going up for years now.

The Porsche 964 RS is a good example, I know a case where someone sold his for around 40k euros a few years ago, and today they are going between 70k and 6 digits...

Same situation for alot of oldtimers with some prestige. And I don't think this price raise is gonna stop anytime soon.

Macs. Thanks. Seems to be the same here. Cool cars and they are unique.

I bought my first Mini in 1977, brand new £1,950 on the road.

Didn't realise you had one of those - how come it hasn't rusted to bits up there in the woods?

Loved my Spit (another 1500 although without the silly export bumpers/fenders) - great fun to chuck around the country roads in Devon and Dorset, but a PITA to get any kit in. I chopped it in for Mk1 Golf GTi in the end.
