All I remember from the late '70s was that everyone seemed to smoke weed. I remember family talking about something called hyperinflation. I remember living off goat's milk and I got my first taste of government cheese. It was not as nasty as Velveeta. Sometimes I think nostalgia just isn't what it's cracked up to be. It would have been interesting to be alive during the ****** Revolution in the US, because that's what that time was. I got the shaft and came of age during Reagan-era prudery, though. A lot of "just say no" and After School Special do-goodery. You guys who came of age around 1979, would you do it again if you could?
