It's like saying Turks in Istanbul are more troublesome than Turks in Ankara.
    i don't live in Turkey...

i base my view on the Turkish Kurds living in Norway.

and no they are not treated differently, they make a bad name for us ordinary Turks living in Norway.

Hollis, please add an emo of Peter Griffin rubbing his part of the nose between the eyes. It suits comments like this.

Memoli, that is pure racism and generalization, there are many European MPs of Kurdish origin, business men, doctors and general people that contribute to the society, but you Turks only label them as Kurds when something goes wrong, but if they are successful then they are Turks, right?

Fighting intensifies to apply pressure on each other.
    ...
You really believe that the PKK is fighting for the cause of the Kurds? Take a look at their historical era. Just a hint.

    ...
Unfortunately 70% of the worlds population are sheep and will follow what the media tells them, this can be illustrated in Turkeys events with regards to Iraqi Kurds, where the Turkish population has slowly become more and more tolerant to a point where they believe that Kurds in Iraq and Turkey are somewhat different. In 2007 when the Turkish media was not so tolerant of us, the Turks weren't so kind, infact they used to call Barzani a tribal leader, yet now he is called a good diplomat and one that can bring peace to the Turks and Kurds of Turkey.
    ...
Well he basically is the successor to a tribal leader

Nice one! Accuse someone of generalizing people based on their ethnicity while you to it yourself as an answer.

Exactly. I'm just going to ignore them, because it seems like you can't open a thread about Kurds without them talking about the PKK. They use it as an excuse to post negatively about Kurds at every corner.

    if you only understod...

this is not racism, it's prejudicm.

and no, i do have Kurdish family members to. it's just that when i am out and hear someone yell i am a Turkish Kurd i am more cautious.

we have to push them to make them contribute to something in the society other than criminality. they never take active part in social meetings, never try to promote their cultural food or something. they either find some excuse to not work and lay down and get money from the social office or have some work through guys from their family.

and no, i have yet to witness a Turkish Kurd doing something to help the society in Norway. we have some few Turkish originated MP and none of them have Kurdish roots.

the last sentence can be used the other way to.

most Turkish Kurds have low degree of education, doesn't care that much and is more active in criminality than most of us ordinary Turks living in Norway. hence, why they give us such a bad name. when they are out and not in trouble they start shouting "i am a Kurd i support pkk f*ck the Turks" and when they steal or do something else that is criminal "i am a Turk". do you have any idea how annoying it is to not be able to get a job because someone else that got fired was supposedly 'Turk' and did something bad in the job. the guy i went to have a interview with desperatelly tried to find a excuse to not give me a job.

i base my view on Turkish Kurds living in Norway. not in Europe...

the fact that i have prejudice against someone doesn't mean i hate him and look at him as a terrorist for speaking his mind. it's because of their actions i judge them, not because of their words.

don't try to twist my words...
