I'll spoil it for ya'll. The two families are fighting, some are supporting the North, others support the South. People get bushwacked and hung. Then they make up during a game of family fued.
I watched it.........eh, it was okay but I don't know if I will continue watching the rest of the series.

Y'all hatin'.
I think it's pretty impressive for basic cable. Especially History Channel, considering it's become the Fat Whiny Guys Doing Work Channel.
Not bad so far. I had no idea it was filmed in Romania. Transylvanian hillbillies?
I have seen the first 2 parts and have enjoyed them. Waiting for the third tonight.
I haven't seen it. The gals last night at bocce ball were saying that Robin Dude is in it. You know, the Waterworld guy.....
I watched it up until the romeo and juliet crap started, then lost interest. That guy that took a splinter, and his eye clouded over? Serious heebeegeebees, grisgris, and goosebumps.
*shudder* nightmare fuel eye
Yeah, but that motherf*cker can shoot.
It's all pointless as hell actually. If I know I'm being hunted by some other crew/family/mongoloids that want to kill me I'm pretty sure I'm not going to hole up in a shack in East Buttf*ck alone with a still and drink myself stupid till they *gasp* find me and shoot me in the face.
I'm also pretty sure that if my family is having a war with another family I won't run around trying to pork every female member of said family just for sh*ts and giggles.
Just a head up, you can watch all the Episodes for free on the History Channel website; not sure if it only limited to the US though.

Damn good mini-series "Devil Anse is my hero" I liked Uncle jim too.
I quite liked it. Pretty high quality tv. Never have I seen a show with so many annoying characters though! Made me want to read up on the history of it because some of it seemed too ridiculous to be true.
Best line in the series:
[Anse, regarding his son Johnse marrying yet another McCoy girl]
"Anyone want to tell me how a son of mine could turn out to be so damn...duuumb?"
