    Nice pix, guys!

Members of Ansar al-Sharia, an al Qaeda-affiliated group, are seen near a tank taken from the army during recent battles, as they guard a road leading to the southern Yemeni town of Jaar April 28, 2012. At least seven militants linked to al Qaeda were killed in clashes in Yemen's restive south, a regional tribal spokesman said on Saturday, as the impoverished Arab state fights to tame a stubborn insurgency.

Members of the Uganda army take their positions during their training in combat operation skills at a military training school in Singo, 78km (46 miles) south of capital Kampala April 30, 2012, in preparation for deployment to the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).

Troops from the Central African Republic stand guard at a building used for joint meetings between them and U.S. Army special forces, in Obo, Central African Republic, Sunday, April 29, 2012. Obo was the first place in the Central African Republic that Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) attacked in 2008 and today it's one of four forward operating locations where U.S. special forces have paired up with local troops and Ugandan soldiers to seek out Kony.

U.S. Army special forces Captain Gregory, 29, from Texas, center, who would only give his first name in accordance with special forces security guidelines, speaks with troops from the Central African Republic and Uganda, in Obo, Central African Republic, Sunday, April 29, 2012, where they are searching for infamous warlord Joseph Kony. Obo was the first place in the Central African Republic that Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) attacked in 2008 and today it's one of four forward operating locations where U.S. special forces have paired up with local troops and Ugandan soldiers to seek out Kony and hope he will stand trial at the International Criminal Court for war crimes and crimes against humanity after his forces cut a wide and bloody swath across several central African nations.

U.S. Army special forces Master Sergeant Eric, center, who would only give his first name in accordance with special forces security guidelines, speaks with troops from the Central African Republic and Uganda, in Obo, Central African Republic, Sunday, April 29, 2012. Obo was the first place in the Central African Republic that Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) attacked in 2008 and today it's one of four forward operating locations where U.S. special forces have paired up with local troops and Ugandan soldiers to seek out Kony.

U.S. Marine Sgt Albert Winschel, right, demonstrates the use of an improvised tourniquet on fellow Marine Sgt Preston Norton, left, as they instruct soldiers from the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF) in medic training at the Singo training facility in Kakola, Uganda Monday, April 30, 2012. The camp provides different training courses run by the U.S. Marines and also by instructors contracted by the U.S. State Department under the Africa Contingency Operations Training & Assistance (ACOTA) programme, both aimed to better prepare Ugandan soldiers heading to Somalia as part of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) peacekeeping operation.

U.S. marines watch as members of the Uganda army undergo training in combat operation skills at a military training school in Singo, 78km (46 miles) south of capital Kampala, April 30, 2012, in preparation for their deployment to African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).

In this photo of Wednesday April 18, 2012 two American soldiers, who did not give their names, assist in advising Ugandan troops hunting for Joseph Kony in Djema, an operational base in the Central African Republic. For Ugandan soldiers tasked with catching Joseph Kony, the real threat is not the elusive Central Africa warlord and his brutal gang. Encounters between Ugandan troops and Lord's Resistance Army rebels are so rare that the Kony hunters worry about other things when they walk the jungle: armed poachers, wild beasts, honey bees, and even a widely-ranging fly that torments their ears during day.

Royal Thai Airforce Aircraft Crashes at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport

A Royal Thai Air Force aircraft crashed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport today at around 0845 hrs. The small Air Force ATR 72 type aircraft (Flight SL 60314) landed safely but at the last moment skidded off the runway losing control over it leaving the aircraft heavily damaged. The flight left Bangkok for Dhaka with 15 crews on board including three pilots. Three pilots were injured while two of them were taken to the hospital and another one was given first aid. Rest of the 15 on-board was unhurt and taken to safe place after the crash. It was learned primarily that technical fault was the reason of the crash. Just after the incident, airport fire service arrived at the location of the crash and took position. Civil Aviation officials, Airport Armed Police members and other officials rushed to the spot and secured the area. But no other casualties were reported. Authorities are investigating the actual cause of the crash. Later on Civil Aviation Minister Faruk Khan visited the spot.
