    That happens everywhere.
I had a Japanese classmate who returned to Japan to work, but came back after six months because she was too American in her attitude.

Small growing radical muslim minority doesn't really matter in the big picture as long as the way larger moderate "muslim" community doesn't assimilate (maintain their ancestors' identity and most importantly - religion) in historically homogeneous host country and reach something like between 15 to 20% share of population. This will eventually happen in some western European countries in the "near future" and undoubtedly will charge the political landscape - both inner (lax immigration laws) and foreign (pressure and even sanctions against Israel, for example) affairs of the country.

“Well according to the people who drive the Idea of Eurabia they were lying to lure you in to believing they were secular while there in fact aren’t any secular Muslims”
This is obviously a bull argument.

Whoever believes this was ever an option or a goal seriously needs to take a minute and reflect on what view of the world one has and how far from reality one has strayed. On both sides of the equation.

You may find Irish in Boston, but that doesn't make Massachusetts the most western region of the Emerald Isle does it?.

Since Charles V time, one could argue that Latin America has a tremendous cultural influence upon Spain and vice versa.

Where one cannot distinguish one from another. Especially in Southern Spain.

That's a totally different argument. I'd agree that Latin America has a large cultural influence on the like's of Spain and Portugal. That doesn't make Spain a Latin American country though.

Less than 25%. Brussels has a large Turkish minority which cannot be confounded with the trolls of S4B.
Overall less than 6% in Belgium are Muslim.

I live and work in a neighborhood where they are awash. I have yet to be robbed once or attacked. I used to live in Ixelles which is a far better neighborhood and I had 3 break-ins in 8 years.

Geographically, no, but one can say that Spain has closer bonds with Latin American than the rest of the EU.

Likewise Portugal has literally become a colony of its former colonies.

Spain is no different than any other Latin American country with people from all sorts of background and walks of life.

I didn't sense any hostility or resentment from the locals.

But in Barcelona, I did see a funny argument between a Pakistani and Morrocan yelling at each other in Spanish. I doubt they understood each other.
Let me guess where you chose to hang out,
