Trivial nonsense once again, and I generally don't agree with this current administration. It just embarrasses me when people on "my side" bring up arguments like this that make me look like a bigoted moron that just hates him "because his name is Obama" (in a redneck voice).

Do you have a clue what you are talking about? This is a attack ad against Romney, not the other way around. The Campaign to re-elect Obama is trying to say Romney would not have made that call. Romney did not attack Obama for making the decision. The campaign ad, implies Romney would not have made that decision. I have no problem with Obama getting the credit for giving the go ahead, even Romney said that. The issue is using it as a political attack ad. I think we will see worse before this November. (from both sides)

Much of the criticism extends from the fact Obama hinted Romney wouldn't make the same decision, which has jack to do with credit given or denied to Obama.
Of course Romney would have made the same decision, after he wouldn't, then he would, then he wouldn't...

It is pretty hilarious that the thread title has "slam" in it after reading the article that Puffy posted yesterday...

I really don't want to actually. But f*ck me I don't really see the point in voting for Romney either.

Well, we've already seen what we get with Obama. Do you really want four more years of the same? And even if it's best case and we just get four years of deadlock between the President and Congress, what will that do? At least by picking Romney there's a chance for something better. Not only that, if the Republicans managed to get a supermajority and still screwed things up maybe that'd be the wakeup call the people need to create a 3rd party. Like the last election, this one doesn't seem to offer a good choice. Just a known mediocre or an unknown, potentially good or bad.

I would rather be raped by a German nyphomaniac for 36 hours and left to cry in the street than deal with another 4 years of the current administration.

I've been disillusioned by the political process and the whole shebang. However, I'll rather vote for Obama than Romney, and that's if I vote at all. How are you gonna tell that there is a better chance for things to get better with Romney? we don't know that. Also, it's not things haven't gotten better under Obama, it's just that the pace of recovery contrasted with over-hyped machine that got him to office.

How have they got better? The nation is $5 trillion+ more in debt that when he took office. We've got Obamacare coming down the pike that's going to only add to it. He's easily the most divisive President we've ever had. How is four more years of that crap going to be for the good? You're right, I don't know that Romney would do better, but I'm damn certain he couldn't do worse. Obama doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to money and this country is in the toilet. We need someone who can give us something better than four more years of the same $hit that got us in this mess.
