    Default 11 Armoured Cavalry Division Recon Troops competition

    11 Armoured Cavalry Division Recon Troops competition.

    April 26 and 27, 2012. Scout squads from units subordinated to 11 Armoured Cavalry took part in the recon troops contest. The main goal of the competition was to improve combat skills and endurance of the Division recon troops soldiers and to choose the best team to represent the "Black Division" during the Land Forces recon troops contest for the Cup of Polish Land Forces Commander. There were four squads taking part inthe contest: two from the 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigde (one from the brigde reconaissance company and one from 24 Ulans battalion) and two from the 17 Machanised Infantry Brigade (both from the brigde reconaissance company). All participants were armed with personal or squad weapon and were wearing rucksack, webbing and personal or squad radios. The teams passed through many tests including squad level live firing after 3000 km run with weapons and equipment and target acquistion test. The contest was won by the squad from 17 Brigade, led by CPL. 1ST CLASS Dariusz Idczak, who will represent 11 Division during Land Forces recon troops contest. Pics taken by MAJ Szczepan Głuszczak.

    Don't get me wrong. I'm not against the holiday, and there are still plenty of countries where working people's rights are abused.

    But seeing people running around in fantasy uniforms and carrying paraphernalia accredited to murderous regimes makes me want to break aout some tear gas canisters.
