    what happened to the so called "plot" to kill saudi ambassador in the US with the help of Mexican cartel`s lol..... didnt the US claimed they will publish evidence...so where is it ? no more word of it = Propaganda

    Assuming that the stories of Iranian assassination attempts (and I say "attempts", if one includes the alleged plan to kill not only the Ambassador to Egypt, but also the Saudi Ambassador to the US) are true, what are the fundamental objectives? A precursor question might be: are these viewed as state-sanctioned operations, or the work of sub-national actors?

    No doubt we need to take this story with a pinch of salt.

    The Egyptians have a tendency of seeing Israeli agents everywhere and I wouldn't be surprised if they (and certainly the Saudis) would do the same with Iran.

    lol are you serious ?.... yes its obviously from AFP (so what), i said ynet because ynet published this article from AFP (which is the link posted here)...The article itself is quoting a advisor to the Embassy in egypt(no government post) who told local saudi newspaper about a "plot" by iranians, just wanted to point out that the source of this information is laughable ! who is the idiot ?
