LOL ....The cracks in the EU Mickey mouse club are starting to Appear ...
Nothing new under the sun.
The United States went through a similar period under the Articles of Confederation period. This was before the US Constitution. Where each of the 13 colonies were literally sovereign nations. The concept of the United States at that time was akin to the EU today.
I hear BS right here.which comes down to the same thing as countries that drop the euro cannot remain a member of the European Union.
Ow Geert, withdrawing from the EU while we are dependant on their trade. Ow Geert, now even the truck drivers and warehouse personnel won't vote for you.
This whole thing just shows that these populists, even more than regular politicians, only care about their next elections. Not what is in the best interrest for our country.
Perhaps the queen is the only person in the government who actually cares about our nation. Guess what, Wilders wanted her out.
Bye Geert! I hope you won't get any votes.
You know that there were free trade agreements before EU existed and countries like Norway and Switzerland still have free trade agreements with EU countries? Ever heard of EFTA?
IMHO EU is too undemocratic to be good for people in long run. Current situation in EU is such that USA would be comparable if you couldn't vote for your own president and senate and only your House of Representatives was democratically elected and it didn't have any real power.
It's funny how some newspapers here pretty much slam democracy because it makes EU decision making too hard...
I don't want the EU as the monster it is now, I'll never vote for Wilders but i sure agree with leaving the EUSSR. Go back to the core essence of economical partnerships and not dictate how people must live their lives like they do now.
Bea and him had a little row, so now he's anti-monarchy on the DL. Most politicians over the years have found out that being openly anti-monarchist is a sure fire way to end up with a very small amount of voters though. If anything, Beatrix is more popular now than some years ago...
