Apparently Gomez has a street named after him in some small town named Albuñán in Spain where his grandparents live and his father was born before moving to Germany to make little Mario with a nice German girl. )

He hasnt looked good in either game... hope he gets his form back, the Germans will need him.

Although they still have Götze and Reus... kind of wish those guys would get more playing time, they're top... and they're rested.

Many German players are not in good form at the moment. Özil, Schweinsteiger, Müller, Klose, Podolski, Lahm, Mertesacker are all considerably worse than in 2010. The 2010 team looked overall much better. But maybe with more luck they can still do it this time.

And yeah Götze, Reus and Schürrle all deserve a chance to play, considering how Müller and especially Podolski are playing.
