Özil brings balance to the squad. He's just evolving in a different set because of his Real position.

    He starts the 2-0 action.

However what worries me is Khedira. Absolutely no move when Van Persie moves forward to score.

The level this Euro is IMO higher than at the WC and the tactical dispositions are by far more homogenous than during the WC. It is part of the Euro-Deal. Therefore space is scarce (unless you are Christiano Ronaldo, Torres or Balotrolli). Nothing to do with being in good or bad form. In a sense Germany looks far more solid in Defense than in Offense, yet both games say otherwise.

And yeah Götze, Reus and Schürrle all deserve a chance to play, considering how Müller and especially Podolski are playing.
I agree... but hope that they'll gain confidence and form as the tournament progresses.

I dont think they'll play the subs against Denmark, since technically the Germans could still crash out if they lost that one.

When talking about good / bad form of certain players I was hardly considering the played games at this cup, way too few anyway for good judgement, but their overall form. Including recent injuries etc.

Showing naked breasts gets Croatian fan in trouble
Two female Croatian football supporters, who celebrated Croatia's victory over Ireland in the stands in Poland by lifting up their shirts to reveal their naked breasts, have become an internet hit all over the world.

So who is winning tonight? I think Italy and Spain both pull out Ws, although Italy will have a tough time with the Croats.

It's the same since the dawn of Dutch-German football history. The dutch mouthig off before the game, get stuffed by germany and can't take it like men afterwards.

It was all in good fun, untill we won. sulk all you like, but you're still defeated

Again that looks that way, because of the overall look of the matches. IE close game, will be more fought and players would look far more sluggish. Tactical lunacies start showing when things don't go your way. IE a flat 4-4-2 on the Dutch side, when you know in front you have a guy named Gomez.

Levelling England and Argentina 4-something shows as much as beating Holland 2-1.

As said before some patterns don't lie. Germans passing in the same ball park than against Portugal (while having less possession) and scoring 2 (with at least a third possible). Dutch having the ball as much than against Denmark and passing even some more with the same success rate (both in passes and in overall result).

Therefore, the form of the German players is less relevant, Ze Germans have a plan. And it is working out pretty good.

    Spain wins 2-1.

Italy draws (rallies at the 80 minute) for a 1-1 (or 2-2).

I don't trust these crooks to win a game unless they have to (IE not today). If they win, that would mean someone is going to jail.

I don't mind the team being beaten, the German team was better, what I do mind is you being a troll about it.

I dont trust them either, but they seem to be playing ok enough.

Did you even read my post that you quoted?
I said, they are in bad form because of injuries and other stuff irrespective of the games at this cup (judging from recent league games etc) - you say it looks just like that because of the games at this cup. What?
I would have said exactly the same thing (minus Özil who looks just exhausted) before any games were played here.

Best Euro since a long time. 2,75 goal per match .
