    Indeed, business as usual.
Just like reaching the semi finals.

I was not expecting too much before the tournament, as I knew about the current condition of the players, so I am not too disappointed now.

    No ****...

Neuer should switch to field player. Buffon shits better goalkeepers than he ever will be...

Balotelli's sole purpose on this planet seems to be making goals, it seems.

Referees should be put in a sack and drowned... I'm not blaming them for the oucome of the match, but they might as well have put some blind guys in there. They must have flipped a coin to determine who gets the blame whenever some guy fell down. and the linesmen should study offside rules once more.

    I'm with you on this.

Neuer has yet to convince me, even though he played a good tournament. Buffon is just amazing, he really is clutch.

The referees blew some calls in this game as well, thankfully nothing that changed the game. Its just annoying when they so blatantly blow what should have been an easy call.

But didnt. Everytime I watch him in big matches he makes the saves he has to, like against Reus and Khedira.

Just heard some news on the radio. The last night was rather violent in the towns and cities around. And the blame is on the Germans, or better 'young, drunk, male' Germans. In a city close to mine 800 italians celebrating on a street corner were approached by a similar mob of Germans coming from some event. A bit of banter and a giant brawl ensued and the whole inner city had to be closed down by police. Fights everywhere. Same thing in other towns around. And i have to say the italians here are hardly aggressive, it was the Germans.

On my way home i already thought the honking italians sooner or later will piss off some idiot knuckleheads.

Kudos to the whole German team for getting to the semi-finals. They are young lads with a bright future ahead, and played some really nice games during the EM. I just hope no bloody seppo will start an insanely useless discussion if Löw should quit as a trainer.

You are one of those "well at least we reached the semi" kind of guys arent you?

Did you see the match against Israel? The match against Switzerland?

The match against Portugal which we barely won?

The match against the Netherlands which we won because the dutch dont know how defense works?

The match against Denmark who gaves us a really hard time?

And of course the match against Greece which we actually won with more than one goal difference but suffered two horrible goals.

We didnt play good before or during the Euro. If you think we played good you probably live in some kind of parallel universe.
We played good during the 2006 WC. But not this Euro.

Far too many Bayern players being tired from a long season.

Also many players dont have a bright future ahead of them. Except of course those who almost didnt play... and when they played they played brilliant. One starts with R and the other with Sch.

In my humble opinion, I think that Germany played very well, in fact I think football has practiced more attractive and effective, of all participants.
I think also, that you have a great coach, Löw has a nice concept of football, and I think he's doing a great job with Germany, I would not mind at all, switch to Mourinho by Löw, in the Real Madrid.
I do not know what could have failed yesterday in Germany, but it wasnt normal, to be so easy win for Italy.

    Exactly this.

Löw is the best (and only) alternative to coach the Germans and beginning with Klinsmann, Löw has done a great job of developing an attractive and largely effective German style of play. Definitely more fun than those god awful Vogts, Ribbeck and Völler days.

Nonetheless, the team has hit a wall. Couldnt beat the Italians in 2006, couldnt beat the Spanish in 2008, couldnt beat the Spanish again in 2010 and bomb out against an Italian team they SHOULD have been able to beat in 2012.

Call it bad luck, call it having a bad day or whatever... they're just not getting it done at a level where only titles count. Sounds brutal, but that's reality.

I really think the heavy dependence on a tired, defeated and morally crushed Bayern core of Lahm, Schweini, Gomez, Kroos etc. was the wrong approach.

He should have integrated Götze, Reus and Schürrle more actively at an earlier stage in qualifying so he could use them in the tournament. Instead he went with the same tired plan that got them defeated in 2010.

I hope things change by 2014, but it certainly isnt going to be easier against the Brazilians and Argies.

Oh please no. I am sure the players dont feel like that at all. They might as well have flown out in group stage at this point.

He could be seen "getting pumped up" before the and wiggling around like a boxer. Hanging out with the Munich P1 and Spielerfrauen crowd.

The best moment was when the teams came out of the Tunnel and some Fortuna Düsseldorf fan above the tunnel managed to get his banner in plain sight above the door when the players walked out. Watched it with 10 people suddenly all squealing like children.... there there there hihihihi
