I wonder how many people have a better understanding of the geography of a video game world than they do of the geography of the real world.

My assumption would be that people who have a problem with the geography of Earth probably have a hard time in video games (or books, movies, or any other form of entertainment) too.....interesting question though....

In Elder Scrolls Online you'll be able to play as one of three factions. The three factions consist of several races from specific regions of Tamriel. The races fromed alliances to take on a fourth alliance. They are:

• The Ebonheart Pact consists of Nords, Dunmer, and Argonians from the Northern and Eastern regions.

• The Aldmeri Dominion consists of Altmer, Bosmer, and Khajiit from the South and South West regions.
• ​The Daggerfall Covenant consists of Bretons, Redguards, and Orcsfrom the North West regions.

It just got stupid. Imperials are not even a playable race, and their alliances don't seem to make much sense either...

I don't think Imperials were around in the Second Era.

They're the 4th faction the other 3 are fighting agaisnt. If I'm not mistaken, the game takes place at the end of the 2nd Tamriel Empire, or whatever it was called, which was run by the Imperials.

I'm not sure if I'm up for this or not... I just started playing SWTOR though and have to say, one of the best MMO's i've played so far.

You may make it longer. I lasted about 5 months, but now I'm moving on too. Just waiting for PS2, and I may go back to EVE for a while.....

Ha, I know why. It's because they have tasked the retards of their company to come up with the playable races and factions...I've also heard rumours that the combat will be in 3rd person only, and the combat will not be the same as the past 3 Elder Scrolls games, but may be like other MMO's......needless to say, there is a lot of rage on Bethesda's forums....
